The TLC Rental Marketplace Team

Natanyah Menna, Founder

I’m a seasoned entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in the New York City Taxi & Limousine Commission (TLC) rental industry. As the founder of TLC Rental Marketplace and TLC Plate Marketplace, I’ve become a trusted connector and advocate for drivers, fleet owners, and industry professionals navigating one of the most complex transportation markets in the world.

My journey began with grit, hustle, and deep family roots. Raised by a single mother of five, I watched her build a life for us behind the wheel—driving everything from town cars to taxis to Uber. Her relentless work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit laid the foundation for my own career. Years later, as I re-entered the workforce after raising my daughter, I discovered an opportunity in TLC vehicle rentals that sparked my ambition to create something meaningful.

From the ground up, I built a family-operated TLC fleet and began renting cars weekly to licensed drivers. That firsthand experience showed me the inefficiencies and missed opportunities in the market. In response, I launched TLC Rental Marketplace—a centralized platform where fleet owners can list vehicles and drivers can find quality, affordable rentals. It was created out of necessity—and grew because it served a real need.

To deepen community engagement and industry insight, I also launched and currently admin two of the most active Facebook groups for NYC TLC drivers, with a combined membership of over 89,000. These groups have become go-to spaces for real-time support, vehicle and plate listings, licensing updates, and community-driven resources. They reflect what I value most—connection, transparency, and empowerment for the hardworking drivers of New York City.

Building on the success of the rental marketplace, I expanded into TLC Plate Marketplace—a sister platform connecting buyers and sellers of TLC plates and corporations. Whether you’re expanding your fleet or selling a business, our team is here to ensure a transparent, efficient process.

None of this has been easy. I’ve faced setbacks, navigated industry roadblocks, and mourned the loss of my beloved sister Elisha, whose quiet strength and unwavering support still fuel my drive. But through it all, I’ve built strong relationships—with brokers, body shops, and especially drivers—many of whom have become close friends and collaborators.

This work is deeply personal, rooted in real experience and powered by community. I’m proud of what we’ve built—and even more excited about what’s next.
